- The Friends of the Clemmons Branch Library book sale will be on Thursday, Aug. 7, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds go to the library.
- There will be no children’s programs during the month of August. Events for children will return in September.
All ages:
- Creative Space Open Lab: Stop in the library’s Creative Space on Friday, Aug. 8, at 10 a.m. to try out the 3D printer.
Adult programs:
- Book Lovers’ Club: First Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Join for a group book discussion each month. On Aug. 4, the club will discuss “Trust” by Hernán Díaz.
- Clemmons Cookbook Club: Every third Wednesday of the month at 12:30 p.m. Choose a recipe from a pre-selected book in the library and the library will make a copy for you. Bring in the finished dish on the day of the meeting to share with other members. Must bring a dish to attend. The next meeting will be on Aug. 20, and the theme will be fruits of the harvest.
- Bluegrass Jam Sessions: Second and fourth Monday of the month at 6 p.m. Join in the Clemmons Branch Library auditorium for a jam session. Players of all abilities are welcome. The next session will be on Aug. 11.
