Events
- The Clemmons Community Spring Cleanup will be held this Saturday, from 8 a.m. to noon. Starting location is village of Clemmons Public Works, 3800 Dillon Industrial Drive, Clemmons. To sign up a family or small group of friends to help pick up trash along the roadways, go to clemmons.org/351/Clemmons-Spring-Community-Cleanup.
- “Pizza with the Police” will be held at Mediterraneo Pizza & Grill (3120 Gammon Lane) Clemmons on Tuesday, May 6, from noon to 1 p.m. Join the Clemmons officers for pizza and conversation.
- Movie Night in the Village will be held Friday, May 16, at the Jerry Long Family YMCA. Food trucks and music will begin at 6:30 p.m. The movie, “Napoleon Dynamite,” will begin at dusk.
Farmers market
- Information about the market can be found on clemmons.org, as well as linked to all village social media sites. For further inquiries, contact Lynette Fox at lfox@clemmons.org.
- The market will officially open for the season on May 10, 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Vendor applications are closed for the season and the market is currently at capacity.
Employment
- The village of Clemmons currently has job opportunities available. Find out more at clemmons.org/jobs. Current openings include assistant director of operations, marketing and communications specialist and public works equipment operator.
Meetings
- The next regularly scheduled council meeting will be held on May 12 at 6 p.m. in the council chambers of village hall, located at 3715 Clemmons Road.
- The regularly scheduled planning board meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 20, at 6 p.m. in the council chambers.
Public works
- Limbs should be placed on the edge of the street by 7 a.m. on Monday morning of the following schedule between March and November: East of Lewisville-Clemmons Road and Middlebrook Drive (Winston-Salem side) — second full week of the month. West of Lewisville-Clemmons Road and Middlebrook Drive (Tanglewood side) — first full week of the month.
- To assist with additional waste, recycling and cardboard, Clemmons’ citizens are invited to bring their excess to the public works facility between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (except holidays).
Stormwater
- Staff will be completing drainage outfall inspections throughout the village of Clemmons as part of the N.C. Department of Environmental Quality’s NPDES Phase II permit throughout the months of December – May 2025 during the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (weather depending). Activities may include visual observations, photography, creek walking and water quality sampling, primarily at drainage pipe outlets into ditches and water bodies. All stormwater personnel will be wearing reflective vests, driving marked vehicles and carrying identification.
