The Lewisville Historical Society will be hosting its next membership meeting at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center, 7632 Warren Park Drive, Lewisville, on July 14.

The program will be “Sharon United Methodist Church: A Rich History” presented by Sally Jones and Derrick Beauchamp. They will describe the highlights of the story of the church, founded in 1813 and still going strong 212 years later. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

The meeting is co-sponsored by the Lewisville Historical Society and the Lewisville Branch Library. Anyone interested can call 336-766-5842 for more information.
