The West Forsyth High School Parent Teacher Student Association is hosting a school supply drive before the upcoming school year, inviting locals to help supply a “school store” where teachers can get all needed supplies.

The drop-off point for the supplies is the main lobby of the high school, located at 1735 Lewisville Clemmons Road.

The PTSA is asking for the following items to be donated:

  • Pens and No. 2 pencils
  • Feminine hygiene supplies of all kinds and sizes
  • Ti-84 calculators
  • Loose leaf paper
  • Copy paper for admin offices and copy rooms
  • Highlighters and markers
  • Folders, dividers and binders of all sizes
  • First aid items, including band aids, Neosporin, gauze and alcohol wipes
  • Snacks and bottled water for teacher and staff break rooms
  • Kleenex, Clorox and hand sanitizers

The PTSA is hoping to set up a school supply store that will be available to teachers when they return to school on Aug. 4.
