Scholarship applications were reviewed by teams of active community volunteers. The foundation helps ensure scholarship funds reach deserving recipients and make a lasting impact, according to a release from the organization. Each selection reflects not just academic achievement, but also alignment with the important values represented by each scholarship. Recipients were announced and presented with a certificate of recognition for their award at awards day ceremonies at their respective high schools.
“Each scholarship tells a stor — not only of the remarkable students who receive them but of the donors and families who have chosen to give back,” said Emmy Corn, President/CEO of the Shallow Ford Foundation. “These awards are about more than dollars; they are about encouragement, opportunity, and planting seeds of change.”
