Youth programs

  • Story times: Join for great books, finger plays, songs and crafts for toddlers and preschoolers in the story time room. Story time is on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m., followed by a repeat performance at 10:30 a.m., and on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
  • Preschool Craft Time: The fun continues on Thursdays after story time as attendees make a craft together at 11:30 a.m.
  • Music and Movement: Join for dancing, singing and shaking out those sillies. Takes place every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.
  • Snack Around the World: On Wednesday, June 18, at 4 p.m., challenge your brain with food facts and tasty trivia while you delight your taste buds with snacks from other countries. For teens and tweens ages 12-18. To register, visit or call the Clemmons Branch Library at 336-703-2920.

All ages

  • Creative Space Open Lab: Stop in the library’s Creative Space on Friday, June 13, at 10 a.m. to try out the 3D printer.

Adult programs

  • Book Lovers’ Club: First Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Join for a group book discussion each month.  On July 7, the club will discuss “Yellowface” by R.F. Kuang.
  • Clemmons Cookbook Club: Every third Wednesday of the month at 12:30 p.m. Choose a recipe from a pre-selected book in the library and the library will make a copy. Bring in the finished dish on the day of the meeting to share with other members. Must bring a dish to attend. The next meeting will be on June 18 and the theme will be “perfect for picnics.”
  • Food as Medicine: On Thursday, June 12, at 5:30 p.m. discover how whole food plant-based nutrition can support sustainable weight loss for a longer, healthier life. To register, visit or call the Clemmons Branch Library at 336-703-2920.
  • Ukulele Circle: Every third Saturday of the month at 2 p.m. Come listen to lively ukulele music. Performers of all levels are welcomed to participate in the jam session and listeners of all ages are invited to a wonderful musical experience. The next session will be on June 21.
