CLEMMONS — Novant Health recently transformed the operating model of one of its clinics in Clemmons.

Novant Health Extended Care – Tanglewood, formerly known as Novant Health Adult Primary Care, has opened at 4136 Clemmons Road across the street from Tanglewood Park. The reimagined clinic offers same-day adult and pediatric care with extended hours for patients in Clemmons and surrounding areas. 

“Sickness and injuries are never planned or convenient,” said Joyce Mounce, senior director of Novant Health’s community health and wellness institute in the Triad region. “While the emergency room is always open, it’s not always the most appropriate venue of care for our less acute (sick or injured) patients. Ultimately, our goal is to make walk-in, clinic-based care more accessible for our patients across the communities we serve.” 

Novant Health Extended Care – Tanglewood offers walk-in availability Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. The clinic treats common illnesses and offers on-site X-rays for quick injury assessment and treatment. The clinic will also offer sports and N.C. Department of Transportation physicals.
