CLEMMONS — Sydney Frazier was recently recognized as the Rotary Club of Clemmons Student of the Month for April.

Frazier is an outstanding student with a GPA of 4.3 and in the top 13 percent of her class and is a member of the National Honor Society and vice-president as well as a Crosby Scholar.

“Sydney works hard in all of her classes and she is always willing to help fellow students in class as well as around campus,” said West Forsyth Dance Teacher Lori Crump.

Frazier’s extra-curricular clubs and activities include being an active member of Girls Service Club and Key Club where she participated in several community service projects and a member and leader in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes organization.

Frazier is also a member and senior leader of the Varsity Titanides Dance Team where she coordinates and coaches practices. She also creates halftime routines for football games and is the choreographer for The National Dance Honor Society.

Outside of school, Frazier works as an intern at Wake Health and healthy exercise and lifestyle programs.

In addition, she spends 20 hours per week at competitive dance at Dancers Edge where she guides young dancers and helps them train physically and mentally. She also attends competitions and conventions with the organization.

Frazier will be attending UNC Wilmington in the fall and plans to major in biology with the intent to become a doctor.

“The Rotary Club of Clemmons congratulates Sydney for her accomplishments and contributions to her school and community,” wrote the organization in a press release.
