Events
- The village of Clemmons planning department will be hosting a Transportation Summit at the Clemmons Branch Library, 6365 James St., on Thursday, April 24, from 3:30-7 p.m. For more information, email Planning Director Doug Moore at dmoore@clemmons.org.
- Clemmons Community Day (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and a special pop-up Clemmons Farmers Market (8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) will take place on Saturday April 26, at the Jerry Long Family YMCA.
- Clemmons E-Recycle will be held on April 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Clemmons Public Works Facility.

Employment

Meetings
- The next regularly scheduled council meeting will be held on April 28 at 6 p.m. in the council chambers of Village Hall, 3715 Clemmons Road. There will be a special presentation of this year’s Clemmons Spring Community Cleanup T-shirt design winner during this session.
- The regularly scheduled planning board meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 20, at 6 p.m. in the council chambers.
Public works
- Limbs should be placed on the edge of the street by 7 a.m. on Monday morning of the following schedule between March and November: East of Lewisville-Clemmons Road and Middlebrook Drive (Winston-Salem side) second full week of the month. West of Lewisville-Clemmons Road and Middlebrook Drive (Tanglewood side) first full week of the month.
- To assist with additional waste, recycling and cardboard, Clemmons’ citizens are invited to bring their excess to the public works facility between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (except holidays).
Stormwater
- Staff will be completing drainage outfall inspections throughout the Village of Clemmons as part of the NC Department of Environmental Quality’s NPDES Phase II permit throughout the months of December – May 2025 during the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (weather depending). Activities may include visual observations, photography, creek walking and water quality sampling, primarily at drainage pipe outlets into ditches and water bodies. All stormwater personnel will be wearing reflective vests, driving marked vehicles and carrying identification.
