Events

  • The annual Wheels & Squeals Fest will be held this Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Morgan Elementary School. Bring those wheels (bikes, scooters, etc.) for a free bike check from event sponsor, Clemmons Bicycle, and participate in a scheduled ride around the Village Point Greenway. Learn bike safety and make sure to have a proper helmet. The village will provide lots of bigger wheels in the form of big trucks, first responder cars and trucks, and vehicles of all kinds. Explore, climb and touch. Enjoy kids’ activities from the partners and purchase delicious concessions from food trucks on site. See kids squeal with delight. And, back by popular demand, Emit’s Farm and Petting Zoo with some little piglets.
  • The Village of Clemmons planning department will be hosting a Transportation Summit at the Clemmons Branch Library, 6365 James St., on Thursday, April 24, from 3:30-7 p.m.
  • Clemmons Community Day, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and a pop-up Clemmons Farmers Market, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., will take place on Saturday April 26, at the Jerry Long Family YMCA.
