LEWISVILLE — Repair Café Triad announced that they will be holding a free household item repair workshop at Shallowford Presbyterian Church, 1200 Lewisville-Clemmons Road, Lewisville, on Saturday.

The event will bring experienced, volunteer repair coaches together in order to help people learn how to repair their own common household items with the goal of extending their lifespan and keeping them out of the landfill.

The café will have people at the event who have the tools and experience to teach about repairing small furniture, electrical appliances, toys, jewelry, electronics, clothing, tools, lamps, clocks and more.

The event is scheduled for Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. The café is asking for attendees to sign up for the event in advance, but walk-ins are welcome as well.

Anyone who is interested can sign up in advance at repaircafenc.org/events/ws-mar29. For more information, email triad@repaircafenc.org.
