Closings and delays
- The Village Point Lake Greenway Pier is currently closed. Fishing along the banks will be allowed temporarily.
Events
- The planning department will be conducting a series of four walk audits in the month of March and the public is encouraged to join in. These will help determine how to make the village safer and more walkable for our community. The dates, locations and times are as follows:

- The Spring Medicine Drop will be held on March 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the James Street Clemmons Fire Station. Residents can dispose of expired, unwanted or unused prescription drugs and over the counter medications, no questions asked. This is a drive-thru service for households only.
- Enjoy Shamrock Shenanigans on the Village Point Greenway from now until St. Patrick’s Day. Can anyone find all 100 mischievous leprechauns? If you find number 3, 7, 13, 23, 37, 57, 65, 77, 85 or 99, bring the leprechaun to village hall for a prize. (8 a.m. to 5 p.m., from Monday to Friday)
- Clemmons Creek Week Cleanup will take place on March 22 and 23. If anyone has a group that would like to participate, call the Stormwater Department at 336-766-9170. (homeowner associations, school organizations, scout groups, a group of friends, etc.)
- The annual Wheels & Squeals Fest will be held on Saturday, April 12, 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at Morgan Elementary School.
Farmers market
- Applications for the 2025 Clemmons Farmers Market season are now available. It can be found on clemmons.org, as well as linked on all village social media sites.
Employment
- The Village of Clemmons currently has job opportunities available. Find out more at clemmons.org/jobs. Current openings include assistant director of operations and public works equipment operator.
Meetings
- The regularly scheduled council meeting will be held on March 10 at 6 p.m. in the council chambers of village hall, located at 3715 Clemmons Road.
- The regularly scheduled planning board meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 18, at 6 p.m. in council chambers, located at 3715 Clemmons Road.
Public works
- Limb pickup resumes in March. Limbs should be placed on the edge of your street by 7 a.m. on Monday morning of the following schedule between March and November: East of Lewisville-Clemmons Road and the east side of Middlebrook Drive during the second full week of the month. West of Lewisville-Clemmons Road and the west side of Middlebrook Drive during the first full week of the month.
- Leaf collection for the season is complete and will resume in the fall.
- To assist with additional waste, recycling and cardboard, Clemmons’ citizens are invited to bring their excess to the Public Works facility between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays.
Spring 2025 bulk item pickup:
- The 2025 spring bulk item pickup will begin on Monday, March 16, for residents on the west side of Lewisville-Clemmons Road. Bulk item pickup for residents on the east side of Lewisville-Clemmons Road will begin on Monday the week of March 23.
Stormwater:
- Staff will be completing drainage outfall inspections throughout the village of Clemmons as part of the NC Department of Environmental Quality’s NPDES Phase II permit during the months of December through April 2025 during the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather depending. Activities may include visual observations, photography, creek walking and water quality sampling, primarily at drainage pipe outlets into ditches and water bodies. All stormwater personnel will be wearing reflective vests, driving marked vehicles and carrying identification.
