Betti Longinotti, an art teacher at West Forsyth High School, was selected by the National Art Education Association (NAEA) to receive the National Art Honor Society of the Year Award.
This honor recognizes dedication from an NAEA member who sponsors an outstanding National Art Honor Society Chapter. The award was presented to Longinotti during the NAEA National Convention, which was held March 14-18 in New York City.
NAEA President Susan Gabbard said, “This award is given to recognize excellence in professional accomplishment and service by a dedicated art educator. Ms. Longinotti exemplifies the highly qualified individuals active in the field of art education today: leaders, teachers, students, scholars and advocates who give their best to the profession. We are proud to recognize Ms. Longinotti.”
